Halloween is coming up soon, and it’s one of our favourite times of the year. It’s everything we love, horror films, sweets, terrible puns and fancy dress. We also love helping out good causes too, which is where Chipotle and Food Cycle come in with Boorito 2012!
Chipotle are Mexican food specialists, serving up burritos, tacos and nachos with a conscience – they pride themselves on the ethical farming methods that go into their products. Their ethics extend to helping the local community too and they have teamed up with Foodcycle, a charity that helps feed those in need to create a special event this Halloween. All customers who turn up to any of Chipotles five London branches in spooky fancy dress on Wednesday October 31st after 4pm will be entitled to a burrito, salad or tacos for just £2!
As Dracula himself might have said, ‘Fangs very much!!’ The Boorito promotion will see all proceeds from these sales donated to Foodcycle, meaning that not only are you feeding yourself but also helping to feel others. There’s a massive range of meat, veg and toppings that can be combined in over 6,000 different ways, just make sure you leave room for your trick or treat haul!
