There is nothing like a childhood holiday trip to the beach; sand in your sarnies, wind breaks falling down, crying on the donkey ride then good old fish and chips. Argh if only we could go back to that. Imagine Hackney-on-Sea…(puff of smoke) WOW! As if by magic a pop-up restaurant is coming to Broadway Market this January with a 1970’s style home and holiday theme. You can have Fish and Chips with the Seagulls, stroke the donkey and have a ponder at Tim Mara’s exhibition called ‘At Home; showing screen prints from the 70’s and 80’s’.
But don’t get too excited it’s not actually on a beach, it’s in the Pie and Mash shop – but at least you won’t get sand in any unwelcome places!
