1700 MORE SANTANDER BIKES ARE COMING TO LONDON

To help us cut down on public transport the government has pledged £2 billion to invest in cycling, and Sadiq Khan has plans to make areas of central London into one of the biggest car-free zones in any capital city. TfL is at work creating new cycle lanes – some have already been introduced in Euston and Park Lane, and a new Cycleway connecting Tower Bridge Road and Rotherhithe is coming.

1700 additional Santander Cycles are also being added, with eight new docking stations across Southwark and Clapham being installed this summer. Six more docking stations in locations like Westbourne Park, Victoria Embankment and London Bridge Station are due to be installed by the end of the year. There’s still none for tube-less areas like Hackney though, sort it out Sadiq!
