14 HILLS TO OPEN IN THE CITY

The rooftop garden is already open to the public and now we know what the restaurant at 120 Fenchurch Street will be. 14 Hills, from D&D London, will serve up modern British food from Executive Chef Thomas Piat (formerly of Bar Boulud at the Mandarin Oriental and at JOÍA par Hélène Darroze in Paris) covering everything from breakfast to brunch to dinner to Sunday roasts, with a deli-counter featuring sausage rolls, slow roast pork belly and mustard aioli baps, and salmon salads also on site.

The restaurant will serve up dishes like white crab with cauliflower and caviar; beef rossini; roast saddle of venison with venison pie, bone marrow and whisky sauce; Dover sole served on the bone; with winter black truffle omelettes and vanilla and cinnamon French toast on at brunch.

As it’s on the 14th floor, the restaurant will have some mega views over the city. The interiors are also gonna look pretty fab too, with a trees, shrubs, a canopy of evergreen plants and pergolas inside in a nod to the garden up on the roof.
