After going virtual for the first time in its history in 2020, the Chelsea Flower Show is making more history in 2021 as the show is being pushed back from May to September. As well as returning IRL for six days in autumn, the RHS will still be marking the original May show dates with another programme of online events.
One of the big themes for this year’s show will be the positive impact of plants on our wellbeing and given that it’s taking place at a different time of year, you can expect to see autumnal foliage like salvias, asters, dahlias, grasses, fruit and vegetables. All the exhibitors who planned to take part in last year’s show will all be given the chance to return for 2021 too.
