say hello to madame pigg

We love nothing more than cycling around London and stumbling across something interesting. The latest place to catch our eyes and make us circle back on ourselves was Madame Pigg. A new restaurant located on Kingsland Road in what was the blink-and-it’s-gone Stokey Bears. According to their website the neighbourhood restaurant serves seasonal British food from Chef Adam Hardiman who’s previously worked at various pubs in London. The menu changes daily but there’s a regular Sunday roast offering as well some good looking meats and cheeses (exhibit A), plus plenty of epic sounding vegetable dishes like wild mushrooms with truffle and thyme and charred leeks, romesco and almonds.

We’ll bring more deets when we have them…and have been there to eat.
