Hershesons recently opened a shiny new flagship salon in Fitzrovia and it’s pretty mega. Not only does the 5000 sqft space look great thanks to patterned floors, a real mix of seating, plants, and (of course) lots of lights and mirrors, and the open-plan design makes it feel more like a social space than a hairdressers.
A host of top beauty talent has been brought on board, so you can also get your nails done by DryBy, facials from Sunday Riley (their first treatment offering in the UK), light therapy from The Light Salon, brows done by Suman Brows, non-surgical cosmetic treatments Dr Barbara Sturm and waxes from Ministry of Waxing.
We swung by to have a look at the salon and have them give our locks some love. Hershesons is known for their attention to detail and they didn’t disappoint on our visit. As well as a scalp massage during the hair wash, the chairs you sit in are massage chairs so your whole body gets a good rolling over too. You sit wherever you want too so you don’t have to move around between cut and colour. They’re all about making you feel comfortable.
Our stylist Jordan really worked his magic with our hair; he asked lots of questions about what we wanted, talked us through the cut and offered up plenty of great styling tips, and we got fresh, healthier-looking hair that still had length.
With the range of partner brands in-store, plus a Sans Pere cafe offering coffee, pastries and tarts, Hershesons a real one-stop beauy shop as well as damn cool place to hang out.
