A pizza

Fatto a Mano x Franco Pepe’s Margherita Sbagliata

Fatto a Mano is teaming up with one of the world’s best pizza chefs, Franco Pepe, to bring a limited-time special to their sites in Covent Garden and King’s Cross this spring and summer. The one-of-a-kind pizza is called the ‘Margherita Sbagliata’, which is Pepe’s take on the classic tomato and cheese topping. His signature pizza dough is layered with buffalo and fior di latte mozzarella and Lorenzo extra virgin olive oil, then baked for just 90 seconds. It’s finished off with riccio (‘curly’) tomato passata, made from an ancient variety grown exclusively for Pepe in his home city of Caiazzo, which is piped on in geometric lines alongside dots of basil oil. For each of the specials sold, £1.50 will be donated to La Scugnizzeria, a charity in Scampia, Italy, that provides local children with the opportunity to learn essential skills.

Available Sat 29th April – Fri 2nd June 2024
