LOTI EATS: BONNIE GULL

Everyone’s favourite seafood shack is back with a brand new, small but perfectly formed sister site in Soho. With only 23 covers (we did say it was small), there’s an emphasis on sharing plates that showcase the same fresh British seafood we got to know from the original Bonnie Gull. With bar-style seating centered around an open kitchen you can watch the chefs at work and if you’re in the know, order special off-the-menu dishes.

It’s hard to pick a stand-out dish as everything we tried was a winner; from the Fowley mussels cooked over embers to the Manx queen scallops with black pudding and green apple to the chargrilled monk fish cheek, it was all absolutely bloody brilliant. The wine list matches up too with some gems to glug through.
