inheaven are just sweet sweet baby

It’s a strong start from INHEAVEN who drop new track ‘Sweet Dreams Baby’ on us like a new year anthem bomb. You may remember their track ‘Bitter Town,’ which we played over and over on our Noise Box. ‘Sweet Dreams Baby’ is all about hope and better things to come in 2018, with frontman James Taylor belting out “Ever wish you were someone else? Ever wish you were somewhere else?” and backed up by the sweet harmonies of Chloe Little. It’s an instant like, and although it sounds like them, it pisses all over the Vaccines stuff (even though we’re a fan yes), it’s more sophisticated, far less contrived and just good to see a guitar band not being awkward. We’re hooked.

Don’t just take our word for it…look what everyone else is saying.

“Indie’s most dangerously exciting debut-album-darlings.” – NME
“INHEAVEN know their way around a tune. Boasting turbocharge riffs, instant hooks and the striking vocals of guitarist James Taylor and bassist Chloe Little, it is easy to see why Julian Casablancas’s label scrambled to spread their gospel in America.” – Q
“Noisy, riotous, anthemic and bristling with excitement, INHEAVEN is an album to rage along with.” **** – DIY
