Save big on sharing plates, brunch sets and cocktails
Aldgate spot YUU Kitchen is serving up a range of fusion dishes from across South East Asia and the Pacific Rim, showcasing flavours from Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines throughout its sharing menu. We’re talking dishes like:
- scallops with shichimi-lime butter and samphire
- salmon sashimi with green chillli ponzu
- Filipino-style adobo wings
- cauliflower with jalapeno ponzu
- truffle gyoza with Asian mushrooms
- monkfish with orange mustard miso, lemongrass teriyaki sauce and yuzu & shiso gel
- white miso-glazed eggplant with crunchy shallots
- lamb cutlets with umeboshi miso and pickled kumquat
- Iberico pork pluma with black pepper miso sauce and spring onion
There are also a selection of Taiwanese-style bao buns on offer, with fillings including soft shell crab & wasabi mayo, buttermilk chicken with sriracha mayo & pickled daikon, and crispy tofu with kimchi.
In addition to the a la carte menu, YUU Kitchen has recently launched a new set brunch offering, including rice or prawn crackers, salmon rice cake or tofu bap, sirloin steak or sticky eggplant on rice, plus a side of kim-chips. And you can upgrade that to bottomless with 90 minutes of free-flowing fizz, Bloody Marys, margaritas or weekly cocktail specials.
Like the food menu, the cocktail list also features a variety of Asian ingredients, like lemongrass and ginger in the Thai Margarita; and Toki whisky and umeshu sake in the Asian Whisky Sour. You can also pair your sharing plates with a range of sake, Asian beers or bubble tea if you’re off the sauce.
