There’s been a lot of work going on Chinatown lately and now we’ve got news of the first restaurants to open up inside the Central Cross development.
First up is JinLi (its other Chinatown restaurant won ‘Best in England’ at the Golden Chopsticks Awards this year) will serve a mix of modern and traditional Sichaun food, with dishes like fish in chilli oil Yuxiang shredded pork and JinLi fragrant rabbit on the menu.
The second spot, Modern Shanghai, will be a more relaxed restaurant focused on noodles and dumplings – you’ll be able to get xiao long bao, roast duck noodles, wonton noodles and a range of grilled dishes, with the chefs doing all the prep up at the front.
Sounds like a very strong start to us.
