Every Tuesday, London Fields joint Papi is serving up a special menu, the concept of which will change regularly. For now, it’s all about Pet Nat and fried chicken – it’s probably the best thing you will go to on a Tuesday in London this spring.

Ling Ling’s Residency at Bambi
For the next instalment of Bambi and Friends, the team is bringing out the big guns with a weekly Sunday takeover by Jenny Phung of Ling Ling’s. We’ve been told to expect dishes like poached king prawns, chicken & water chestnut wontons, doubanjiang mushrooms, hummus & crackers, and corn-fed chicken glass noodles salad, and for bookings to go fast – so don’t hang about.

Amélie’s Belgian Foods at Italo
Italo in Vauxhall is hosting another supper club in June and it’s gonna be a celebration of all things Belgian. Host Amélie, who works at Village Underground but has been cooking at other London events and hosting people in her flat, is taking over with a Belgian menu including meatballs in tomato sauce with chips and speculoos ice cream sandwiches.

Johnny Boy’s at Snackbar
Johnny Boy’s is an homage to neighbourhood Southern California joints from the same team behind vegan Chinese spot Facing Heaven and the concept will be popping up at Dalston’s Snackbar this June. There’ll be a menu of West Coast-inspired plates, including burgers, a ‘chicken dinner’, cobb salads and breakfast burritos.

Yannick Bar (at Yuki Bar)
This Sunday, Alsatian vigneron Yannick Meckert will be coming to Yuki Bar in Hackney to create Yannick Bar for one night only. Things will kick off at 3pm and you can expect wines produced by Yannick, “a kind of hotdog” and music.

Shedletsky’s Foods Shop ‘n’ Nosh
Shedletsky’s Foods is back with another Shop ‘n’ Nosh, where they’ll be serving up a menu of sandwiches and sides, as well as slinging some of their ferments, hot sauces and seasonings. The menu for July’s event hasn’t been released just yet, but last time they had Latke, Egg ‘n’ Cheese, Meatloaf ‘n’ Beer Cheese and Smoke Chicken Salad sandwiches on the list – so you can get a feel for what to expect.

The Fill at El Vermut
The Fill, a supper club started by brothers Luke and Dominic Crisp, will be coming to South East London wine bar El Vermut this July. The menu four-course menu includes multigrain sourdough with baba ganoush; heirloom tomatoes, barbecued courgettes, nasturtium and lovage dressing; marinated and barbecued chicken thighs, lemon rice pilaf, whipped feta and cucumber salsa (or a marinated vegetable souvlaki for the veggies); and a vanilla and cognac affogato. Plus, there’ll be plenty of vermouth provided by their hosts.

South Asian Summer BBQ Series The Standard
This summer, The Standard is teaming up with Diet Paratha to host a series of one-off residencies from some major South Asian restaurants from across the world. It’ll kick off on Sat 13th July with Sri Lankan restaurant Kolam from Paris which will be followed by LA-based BADMAASH, known for their unique take on Indian food. Last but not least, South London’s own British-Afghan smokehouse Cue Point will be bringing a menu of their signatures to the King’s Cross hotel.

Rotisserie Chicken Pop-Up at Bar Levan
Bar Levan, a Parisian-inspired wine bar from the owners of Levan, will be bringing the south of France to Peckham this summer with a series of rotisserie chicken pop-ups. Each Saturday, head to the SE15 bar for rotisserie chicken with chicken fat potatoes and summer salad, as well as a selection of natural wines.
