A brand new electronic music venue is opening in East London and this one’s a extra special because it’ll be open 24-hours. Founded by a group of DJs and self-confessed party people, FOLD will be a performance space and studio located above a print factory between Canning Town and Star Lane. Although it might look like an industrial wasteland from the outside, this unassuming building consists of a main room with space for 600 ravers and a 110db sound system. There are also five music studios inside available to hire and a second main room is planned to open later this year.
Neighbours will be kept happy too, as 24-hour events will only be taking place on Saturdays, with sets running until late on Fridays and a 3am cut-off for mid-week events. The launch party, running for 24-hours of course, is taking place on 18th August and will feature the likes of Homodrop & Resis’dance, Make Me, Test Pressing, Body Hammer, Dimensions, Left Alone, KAOS, Body Motion and many more.
