We’re yet to go to 108 Garage but we’ve heard nothing but good things and now there’s number two on the horizon. Luca Longobardi and Chris Denney will open Southam Street in September. Taking over a former Victorian pub, the new place will showcase the cooking of an emerging chef (under the direction of Denney of course!). Each floor will focus on a different area; the ground floor will feature a Japanese robata grill and Big Green Egg, a ceramic grill and smoker, the first floor will be a raw bar serving mostly a Nikkei menu and include a separate sake bar, and the second floor will house a champagne bar. OBVS. Sounds to us like this pair are onto another winner, but let’s just hope we can get a table at this one without having to book months in advance…
