They recently finished a sell-out tour celebrating the 10th anniversary of their third album Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever and now The Cribs have announced they’re dropping a brand new album in August. The idea for 24-7 Rock Star Shit originally came about during recording for the band’s fifth album and was intended to just be an EP, but after recording live to tape in just five days they found they had enough material for a full LP. As such, you can expect the album to be more raw and rough around the edges…very exciting indeed. The Cribs are also doing a series of in-stores to celebrate the release, including a special event at the House of Vans in London on 11th August.
