london bridge open kitchen

It’s great to see how Borough has bounced back following the terror attacks – we were there last Wednesday night and could only get into the fourth restaurant we tried as they were all so packed! The third annual London Bridge Open Kitchen on Wednesday 28th June, couldn’t have come at a better time.

The al fresco festival has moved from its previous home on Bermondsey Street to beneath The Shard, set along the London Bridge railway arches on St Thomas Street. Entry is free and you’ll be able to sample dishes from the likes of Aqua Shard, Texas Joe’s, Hawksmoor, and Hutong, as well as drinks from Fourpure and Bermondsey Tonic Water. Expect hard shakes, South African sausages, prawn wontons and black pudding sausage rolls…

Get down from 5pm on Wednesday and show your support, while grabbing some top notch food and drink at the same time.
