No the heat hasn’t gone to our heads, a pub powered by fish is really opening in Shoreditch. The fully sustainable pub comes from the guys behind The Long Arm Brewing Co and has an on-site micro-brewery and fish farm. But how do the fish power it? Well any waste grains from the beer in the brewery are used to feed the fish, then the fish poop out the grains, which are used to fertilise the pub garden where they will grow all the fruit & veg, and then the fish will be turned into tacos and burgers to be served in the pub…Yes it’s weird and we’re not sure how much we want to eat fish poo vegetables either, but it’s all in the name of sustainability, right?!
