get a chinese takeaway for 10p

It’s been 110 years since the first Chinese restaurant in London, Maxim’s in Soho, opened so to celebrate hungryhouse is teaming up with Mr Chan’s in Clerkenwell to offer a range of dishes for just 10p, the same price you would have paid for grub back in 1907. For one day only you could get chop suey in a sweet and sour sauce, chicken and cashews in yellow bean sauce and other classic dishes served with white or egg fried rice for pocket change. This bargain offer is only available at lunchtime this Thursday and you do have to go and pick the food up, but it’s still a meal for only 10p…you can’t even get Freddos for 10p anymore.
