Duck & Waffle are hitting the streets with a brand new restaurant on the corner of Haymarket. Duck & Waffle Local will be a lot more casual that it’s sky-high sister with takeaway options, speedier service and cheaper grub, but they haven’t lost their roots and the all-day menu will still focus on local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Dan Doherty has created duck-centric menu for the place, so expect dishes to include The Duck Burger, Duck Jam Doughnut and of course their legendary Duck & Waffles. The Full Elvis will also be making an appearance; that’s a peanut butter & jelly waffle with vanilla cream, peanut brittle, berries and caramelised banana. On the drinks front you can expect to find a ‘Taps & Tails’ menu – we’re talking cocktails on tap, local brews and wine.
And to celebrate their opening, we’ve teamed up with DWL to giveaway 200 free dishes. On the 3rd May 2017, if you find one of 200 bespoke DWL rubber ducks in a special location we will announce on our Instagram, simply #Waddlethisway and claim a free dish at Duck & Waffle Local.
