skip art gallery

Those who think modern art is a load of RUBBISH might wanna look away. Catherine Borowski and Lee Baker have turned a skip (yes an actual skip!) into an art gallery. Sitting proudly in Hoxton Square, the Skip Gallery was designed to ‘take the mundane, the everyday and everyplace and to reimagine it as the creative, the arresting and the inspirational’. The first installation ‘Na, I don’t Want None Of That, Again’ was created by Borowski and Baker themselves and will reflect motherhood. The London Art Collective and David Shrigley will also take over the space in the coming months, proving this one’s definitely not a pile of crap.

Opening Fri 24th March 2017
Hoxton Square, London N1 6PB
