The team behind Bao is expanding their Taiwanese food empire with the launch of new restaurant Xu. The two-floor spot will be decked out like 1930s Taipei and will serve up tea from a dedicated tea master and traditional Taiwanese cooking, including Crab with chilli egg drop sauce, Cornish day boat fish marinated in fermented bean curd chilli with bone vinegar sauce, Shengjian Bao and pancakes filled with 40-day aged beef shortrib, roast marrow and pickles. Oh and they will be taking ressies, that means no more queuing peeps!
