It was only a matter of time until small plates made their way into breakfast and new Fitzrovia joint Firedog is doing it. Their Aegean, aka Turkish and Greek, Breakfast Feast includes walnut and thyme Lor cheese, candied pumpkin with hung yoghurt, and pepper, tomato and scrambled egg menemen. And if you don’t feel like sharing, you can tuck into solo size dishes like toasted brioche, grilled plums, honey and pistachios and kofta burgers, all of which go nicely with a harissa Bloody Mary or sumac and za’atar beer. It gets better too because Firedog is knocking 50% OFF food during brekkie and lunch for their soft launch, and once you’ve had your fill of that, you can go back in March when the downstairs room opens up for dinner.
