TEMPLE & SONS TO OPEN

Michelin star chef, Jason Atherton is opening ANOTHER new restaurant in the city, so if you can’t get enough of his cooking at City Social, Sosharu, Berners Tavern and the rest you might wanna listen up. For his second venture with Restaurant Associates, he will open bar and grill Temples & Sons opposite Tower 42. Doing things a bit differently, Temples and Sons will be a lot more casual than sister restaurant City Social and will feature a ground floor deli and bar, and upstairs dining room. Downstairs, the deli will take inspiration from a traditional British grocery store with fancy tinned food, cured meats and snacks like a game sausage roll, creamy mash and HP gravy. And by night the deli will transform into a cocktail bar with plenty of canned carbonated cocktails and drinks in milk cartons.

The upstairs restaurant will run entirely from custom-built grills and you can expect the menu to include lots of shared plates, including wood-fired pork chop, collar & crackling with sage & pine nut crumb and whole grilled Newlyn line-caught turbot with pickled Cornish cockle & pork vinaigrette. And with the whole place looking like a Victorian grocery, we can’t wait to visit Temple & Sons.

Opening Mon 21st November 2016
Tower 42, International Financial Centre, 22 Old Broad Street, London EC2N 1HQ
