Indie heart-throbs Drowners released their stunning second album ‘On Desire’ back in June. Since then they’ve been touring the US, with plans to head on over to the UK later this year. Obviously, we had to ask grab a moment with Matt Hitt to ask him all about the song that…

Reminds me of my favourite festival…

We saw them at Lollapalooza this year and it was the best festival set I’d ever seen. Every song, a banger.

I love this year so far…

I think this is my favorite song I’ve heard this year. I’ve listened to it, appropriately, about a thousand times.

I want played at my funeral…

Always gets me up and dancing…

Literally anything off ABBA’s Greatest Hits. Generally speaking I’m not much of a dancer, but recently, in the last few years, I find myself bopping away to this stuff. There’s something inherently euphoric in their music.

Sums me up…

It’s got all the things I love in it – nostalgia, hope, misery…
