Henry Holland decided to take a bold move with his AW 16 collection and shoot the entire range and upcoming lookbook on a Sony Xperia Phone. The collection which includes House of Holland’s brand new shoe range and never-seen-before pieces was shot by competition winner and amateur fashion photographer Sophie Webster.
Designed to capture everything, the Sony Xperia X uses smart camera capture technology to catch those fleeting moments. Switching from standby to photo taking in a fraction of a second, the camera uses object tracking to track and shoot moving objects without a blur.
[URIS id=71736]Fashion photographer and HOH collaborator Ben Parks, who hosted the photography masterclass and shadowed the competition winner said this: ‘Using the Xperia X on set, I found it fast, intuitive and easy to use. I was really pleasantly surprised. It’s an excellent tool for a professional photographer, whether scouting locations, testing looks or doing a full on fashion shoot. It was particularly great at capturing movement and kinetic energy on set – Henry and I were delighted with the results.’
