Hailing from Liverpool (that glorious music capital of the world), Clean Cut Kid are definitely one band to watch. Tarek is an incredible producer. He has an amazing ability to balance rawness and hifi sounds into something texturally unique. The bass line / sound alone in this track is mind blowing!

Before CCK i made a living as a session guitarist. I spent my late teens obsessed with Jazz, and for me the master of harmony will always be Bill Evans. This 1958 record is the best jazz ever got in my opinion.

Like all Bowie tunes, this is a master piece of harmony and arrangement. Anyone who’s ever tried to do a full-band cover of an epic Bowie track, quickly learns the genius that only he and VERY few others possess.
