LUKAS DOWENHOGGER:<br> ‘YOU MIGHT BECOME A PARK’

art

Raven Row is located in two late 17th century buildings at the back of Spitlafields on Artillery Lane, and is currently home to a curiously eccentric exhibition by Lukas Duwenhogger. Paintings, installations, collages, sculptures and other objects created by the German born artist who now lives in Istanbul are all on display across the various floors and stairwells of these conjoined sprawling Georgian town houses.

True to the gallery’s principles, this exhibition questions the purpose of art outside its economic value, and champions an established artist who for some reason has escaped London’s attention. For the inquisitive out there, we’d recommend a visit before it closes on 18th September.
