based, electronic trio Arctic Lake formed in 2014 and have been continuing to craft their sound ever since. Creating atmospheric soundscapes Arctic Lake use understated electronics, minimalist percussion and haunting vocals to produce an ethereal sound. Attention to detail is everything for Arctic Lake with each member focusing on their own contribution, but their commitment doesn’t stop there with the trio working closely with their producers to create a slick, polished sound that really gets under your skin.

After their debut single ‘Limits’ featured on the weekly Radio 1 playlist in April 2015, the trio have gone from strength to strength drawing attention from the likes of Huw Stephens and Annie Mac and have even featured on the ‘Best of BBC Music Introducing’ playlist. Cleverly using subtle nuances the trio manage to effortlessly elevate the sound; captivating the listener to the point where you can’t let go. And their latest A/B side ‘Heal Me’ and ‘Friend’ is no exception; with a crystalline sound the melancholic masterpiece is a thing of pure beauty. With signs of a bright future, Arctic Lake are definitely ones to keep your eyes on.
