on from his success in Marble Arch and Chelsea, Scott Hallsworth opened his third Kurobuta in Harvey Nichols at the end of 2015. Like it’s siblings, the sharing menu features classic Japanese dishes with modern twists. Think juicy BBQ pork belly in pillow soft steamed buns, crunchy soft shell crab tempura maki with Kimchee mayo and tender tea-smoked lamb. Then there’s the ‘Junk Food Japan’ section with wagyu sliders and a tuna sashimi pizza (don’t worry it’s not actually a pizza).

Other gems include crunchy kale salad with sesame ponzu and kombu roasted Chilean Seabass – as you can see we ordered quite the feast. Cocktails shouldn’t be missed either, even if it’s just to LOL at the names; Harajuku Girl, Ginger Ninja and Green Bastard are all up for grabs. And if you’re feeling really adventurous you can order the Wet Pussy…in Harvey Nichols? Well we never…

What’s more, we’ll let you into a little secret. Tight Ass Tuesdays has just launched with a “Feed Me” menu that will cost you just £28. The 6 course menu is decided by the chef and is available from 6pm across all the Kurobuta locations simply ask your server to “FEED ME” and you’ll be taken care of alright. Your Tuesday evenings will never be the same again.
