pop-rock four piece Shields exploded on to the scene receiving special recognition from The Guardian and a BBC6 Music session with Tom Robinson. Now they’re set to release debut album ‘How Can We Fix This’ at the end of Feb and have tee’d up the climax with a live video stream of ‘Face to Face’ filmed at Blank Studio’s in Newcastle, the bands hometown.

Keeping it simple, Shields perform the track against a dimly lit, exposed brick back drop. Guitar instrumentals take control as does the tangy keyboard riff throughout the track. The f-awesome (see what we did there?) blend vocals effortlessly making ‘Face to Face’ a rocked up, no fuss pop single with plenty of edge. If you’re plugs like the sound of ‘Face to Face’ you should listen to ‘Alive‘ too, another track from the forthcoming album.

How Can We Fix This? is out on 26th February.
