EXMAGICIAN | JOB DONE

Belfast duo Exmagician have just dropped new track ‘Job Done’ ahead of the release of their debut album in March and it’s got us really really excited. With a sprinkling of psychedelia, a hint of garage rock and a dash of shoegaze, it’s full of surprises, and with lyrics crafted to perfection, ‘Job Done’ takes you on a journey spiralling out of this world. Good job done boys.

BEACH BABY | LIMOUSINE

Oozing pop, Beach Baby’s track Limousine is 3 minutes of pure gold. Punching above the rest with jangly guitars and deep bassline, it’s catchy  and with equal measures of funk and rock,  it’s the perfect recipe for a feel good tune. Without a doubt Limousine, makes a statement and will brighten any day.

TEMPESST | TOO SLOW

Psych-tinged indie-rock is one of our all time faves, but throw in a bit of a falsetto and just wow. And if you don’t believe us, Aussie twins, Tempesst hit all new levels with hazy new track ‘Too Slow’. Laid back guitars give the track a real slacker groove, but then the vocals cut through to add a whole new dimension. Drifting through the highs and the the lows, it becomes strangely hypnotic.

BAD WAVE | RUNAWAY

LA duo, Bad Wave take synth pop in their stride. At first, new track ‘Runaway’ sounds like something straight outta the 80’s, but then throwing in a few experimental curveballs, it’s given an of this world sound. Something along the lines of being in a spaceship with lazers and aliens. Pulling you in and pushing you away, the whole thing seems like a contradiction but with ridiculously catchy melodies you just can’t stop listening.

THE AMAZONS | ULTRA VIOLET

Cutting through the bull s**t, and cranking up the volume The Amazons, strip indie rock back to basics with explosive new track ‘Ultraviolet’. Anthemic in sound, the single is driven by the drums and overloaded with riffs. Topped off with a guitar solo to create a real winner.
