Cudega has just opened in a new railway arch development opposite Neil Market, London Fields. It’s a mix of deli and cafe serving up amazing produce entirely from Italy’s northernmost region, Lombardy – think incredible charcuterie, cheese, gelato and wine, much of which you can’t find anywhere else in London.

We especially enjoyed the charcuterie, cheeses and wines on our visit and it’s great that you can then by your favourites from the deli to take home with you. The cafe is open all day from breakfast until 6pm but Il Cudega is also running a series of evening supper clubs this autumn. We stopped by for the ‘Introduction to Lombardy’, a four course run down of the best the region has to offer, including buckwheat pasta, duck and lentils and freshly baked focaccia from the dedicated focaccia oven.
