loves a fairytale and in the 150 years since it was written, Alice in Wonderland has been adapted, appropriated, re-imagined and re-illustrated, but we’re still enchanted by Lewis Carroll’s original story. So to celebrate the anniversary and the original masterpiece an exhibition will be held at the British Library. Highlights include Carroll’s original manuscript and works from later illustrators and artists fascinated by the story, including Salvador Dali, Mervyn Peake, Ralph Steadman, Arthur Rackham and Mabel Lucie Atwell.
