had a run in with an estate agent? It ain’t pretty. In fact, the house-buying process is generally a pretty stressful one…nothing makes a first time buyer hot under the collar like misleading property lingo and slow-moving solicitors. Let’s face it, anyone who has made the decision to live in London is pretty skint. But those in the process of buying a house are probably feeling it more than your average Joe. Caught between estate agents and solicitors, moving house is an expensive, long and painful process.

Forget lunchtime jaunts to artisan coffee shops and “this round on me” for Thursday drinks; it’s going to be leftovers and Netflix nights in for most buyers or looking at flats to rent in London. But then they will finally have a roof over their head… so it’s all worth it, right? If you want to share sympathy or support to a mate who’s moving, sometimes ‘Congratulations on your new home’ doesn’t quite cut it.
