Hackney Cogs is an all new co-working space for creatives based in London Fields. Having opened in June 2015, Hackney Cogs offer affordable desks in a bright, clean open plan space that is aimed at freelancers and small teams who need an ‘office environment’.
It’s difficult to make the jump, get out of the house or coffee shop and into a real working environment when most spaces meaning forking out for overpriced desks in warehouses with no running water. But Hackney Cogs is all you need, filled with like minded creatives busting their gut and working on assorts of exciting, weird and wonderful projects, businesses and ideas.
Inside, each desk is more than wide enough to accommodate a laptop and notepad…how many times does one or the other fall from the dainty tables in whatever coffee shop corner you are hiding in. There’s high speed internet, fully equipped kitchen (no more having to buy another coffee when you really don’t want one to stop the dirty looks from the hipster barista), meetings room, chill out area and you have 24 hour hour access to the industrial style space and the facilities incase you wanna work through the night. You, not us. It’s also extremely secure and has 24 hour CCTV.
Being a short walk from London Fields park you’ve got plenty in the area to make the playtime after work interesting with Broadway Market and Mare Street around the corner. Getting there is pretty easy too with buses going all over from Mare Street and Hackney Central, Cambridge Heath and Bethnal Green. Interested, drop them an email to arrange a show around.
