by Paul Weller’s sister Nicky Weller, Tory Turk and Russell Reader, The Jam: About The Young Idea gives a modern insight into not only The Jam’s six year rise to success in the 1970s from Sheerwater Secondary Modern in Woking to the stages across London but also a documentation of social and fashion history of the time.

With never before seen memorabilia which includes The Jam’s on-stage instruments, photographs, backstage passes, illustrations, badges and Paul Weller’s actual geography book from school plus videos of the band performing. About The Young Idea is one of the most comprehensive music exhibitions ever put on show at Somerset House and is one to see this summer.
