the build-up to their third studio album ‘Currents’ Australian quintet Tame Impala have revealed a video accompaniment for the Michael Jacksonesque track ‘Cause I’m A Man’. With album artwork based on how liquid or air flows around objects, the video for ‘Cause I’m a Man’ carries on the theme using trippy 3D visuals and captivatingly colourful landscapes to tell the story of the evolution of romantic relationships. As for the track itself, Kevin Parker’s flowing falsetto glides effortlessly through silky electronics, giving a far more chilled, far less rock orientated sound than previous offerings and leaving us all tingly inside for what’s to follow. PS-For an extra treat turn the video’s speed to 1.5 for a dancefloor friendly version.
