For those who don’t know Sunday Barnsbury, it’s a small cafe/restaurant, located on a pretty residential street in between Holloway and Caledonian roads. The laid back joint serves from breakfast through to dinner but it’s weekend brunch we went to check out AND what a menu.
There’s something for everyone and it all sounds delish. We went for the brioche French toast with creme fraiche and salted caramel with an added side of bacon, the cornbread, avo, halloumi and poached egg and the huevos rancheros, black beans, chorizo and avo with a side of corn fritters.Portions are decent, there’s some killer combos on the menu and we’re pleased to say it was totally worth the 25 minute wait too. Sunday Barnsbury is the neighbourhood restaurant everyone wishes they lived next too.
