regular readers might remember reading our post on the Chick’n’Sours opening. For those who don’t, it’s a new laid back, small joint in Haggerston serving exactly that; fried chicken and sour cocktails.

The place hasn’t even being open a month and we’ve been back three times…and we’ve had the bun, watermelon salad and a negroni sour three times. Yep, it’s that good. The bun is basically a huge bun filled with Korean chicken thigh, gochujang mayo, chilli vinegar and crunchy slaw. It’s SOOO GOOD.

The pickled watermelon salad has quite a kick and reminds us of a Thai papaya salad. French fries are thin and salty and the negroni sours are a refreshing, summer twist on a negroni. And, then there’s the Weetabix ice-cream. It’s decent value too so get the cluck down there. Now.
