Influential Mancunain menswear clothing shop Oi Polloi have come down saarf and have opened their second ever shop in Soho. Founded in 2002, Oi Polloi began over a shared interest in a pair of suede and crepe shoes called the ‘Clarks Weaver’. Mixing lesser known outdoor labels like the Swedish company Fjallraven with the more familiar Barbour, Oi Polloi became a one stop shop for clothing brands were different in design, unusual, a little more than just functional. They then turned their sights on more contemporary menswear labels, scouring the globe both East and West introducing a plethora of new labels such as Sassafras, Nanamica and Beams which are exclusive to Oi Polloi.
Oi Polloi provides a unique perspective on men’s fashion and so much so we’ve even heard of Londoners travelling to Manchester just to visit!
