KURU | LOOT

The third track to be released from Club Kuru’s upcoming debut EP All The Days EP, Loot was initially released two years ago, but has since been given a major update for its first official release. Driven by its simple but infectious melody and slow brooding bassline, the track flirts with a range of genres while Laurie Erskine’s out of this world vocal sends you to a higher plain of existence for 3 minutes and 28 seconds.

DARTS | AEROPLANE

We don’t know if it’s the angst-ridden distorted guitar riffs or the husky vocals from Ally Campbell-Smith, but we’re really feeling the latest track from this Melbourne 5-piece, who are gearing up to release their debut album later in the year.

WE, TIGERS | GAME OVER / DON’T FORGET

Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, this next track is over 13 minutes long, but don’t let that scare you off. Much like a smooth bottle of Malbec, you just need to take the time to appreciate We, Tigers’ latest effort. Game Over//Don’t Forget has been composed so meticulously that the subtle changes in tempo and vibe are so fluid, that you’ll find yourself blown away when the realisation that you’ve just listened to at least two completely different songs hits you.

TORRES | SPRINTER

Torres new album sees the singer baring her soul and openly discussing how she was raised in a devout Christian family. Sprinter tells the story of how she tried to escape her religious indoctrination as a child, eventually managing to find herself as an adult, only this time no longer held down by the constraints of a faith that never made her feel safe.

HOLY HOLY | YOU CAN NOT CALL FOR LOVE LIKE A DOG

Last but not least, we have Holy Holy’s new track You Cannot Call For Love Like A Dog. Released as part of the Aussie band’s debut EP, features some gritty guitars, a relentless drumbeat and one hell of a guitar solo. Dig it!
