Green isn’t necessarily somewhere you’d have on your foodie radar but newly opened Bistro by Shot is the neighbourhood’s newest all-day dining gem looking to change that. Serving seasonal French-Italian dishes in a relaxed environment, we think it’s really rather good. Well, with a Michelin trained head chef you’d expect nothing less.

Starters of burrata with pickled carrot and beetroot and beef tartare paired with a mini jenga of duck fat chips were excellent choices. Whilst a comforting beef bourguigon warmed the cockles of our heart teamed with curly kale and sweet potato mash. Gooey chocolate fondant topped with pistachio gelato rounded things off nicely and to drink there’s an impressive wine list is put together with the award-winning Fulham wine shop, Vagabond.

We predict Bistro by Shot is going to be a big hit with the locals: it’s a perfect combo of a casual neighbourhood restaurant meets sophisticated food and it’s putting Parson’s Green on the map.
