Canary Wharf is bracing itself for a creative invasion and welcoming the first ever ‘Handprinted Comtemporary Print Fair’ onto its turf. The fair, hosted in one of only two remaining 19th century dockland warehouses, is the brainchild of three local printmakers who hope to shine a light on traditional hand-printing processes.
It’s completely free and features over 20 artists, illustrators and designers so you’re bound to find a smashing piece of art to brag to your mates about, like, “What, this? Oh, I picked it up from a great little art fair on the Wharf, darling”. More importantly, the fair will show all those city slickers and big-bucks bankers that there are far nicer things to print than just money!
