over Bluebird, there’s a new kid on the Chelsea block.
Next week sees the launch of The Ivy Chelsea Garden on the King’s Road which will be opening its doors to every Theodore, Ricardo and Hattie. The restaurant will be serving an all-day British menu meaning you’re going to have to find a pretty good excuse to vacate that comfy armchair you’ve sank yourself into.
We predict it’s going to be quite the hit in the area and it’s easy to see why. The interiors are a thing of beauty- perfectly in-keeping with the garden theme with earthy tones of green and burnt orange and there’s a certain feel of a Parisian bistro about the place. But the pièce de résistance is without a doubt their huge garden at the back, complete with an ideal people-watcing terrace and orangery.

Don’t have a booking? There’s no need to get your red trousers in a twist- half the tables are saved for walk-ins. Hoo-rah.
