the heart Brixton’s vibrant Market Row lies Carioca, a Brazilian restaurant and following its re-launch last summer Carioca has now introduced brunch with a Brazilian twist.

Inside, the restaurant is cosy with a homely atmosphere. We tried the Carioca Breakfast with a signature Bloody Mary which sure enough shook off our Saturday night hangovers. Piled high on the plate, the salty Iberico pork compliments the creamy scrambled eggs perfectly alongside the sweet cherry tomatoes, peppery rocket and bell peppers on a gluten-free maize muffin.

Carioca also serve Caravan coffee, a selection of Birchall teas which go great with all the home-made cakes and ALL dishes are all gluten-free so perfect for all our celiac mates! Brunch is served between 10am-4pm every day which gives you plenty of time to roll out of bed on a cold Sunday morning…
