If, like us, you often find you’re too busy working to exercise, your dinner usually either consists of a three course meal at a restaurant or champers and canapés, or you find yourself over eating due to stress then let us introduce you to PUSH Mind and Body Re-Bootcamp.

PUSH is a new style of fitness retreat that focuses not just on exercise but offers life coaching, nutritional advice and mindfulness training too so you can walk away feeling better and with some tools to help you deal with stress and live a little healthier. Whilst that might put some people off we can vouch that combined together they are all pretty game changing. What’s more, the powerhouses behind PUSH used to work in high powered, stressful jobs in London so they “get it” for want of a better phrase.

Our Re-Bootcamp took place at Burgate Manor Farm in New Forest and we worked it alright. Up at 6:45am each morning for a special hot water detox juice followed by a 7:15am work out with Personal Trainer Tom Eastham who is an absolute machine (and fit one at that!). The workouts took place throughout the day with rests and snacks in between and no two were the same: we did everything from crawling in fields to holding logs above our heads and walking in the forest – and then, there were the burpies…

During breaks from the exercise routine, Executive Coach Ruth Groves was on hand to give personal life coaching sessions and Nutritionist Nicola Shubrook was there to talk over individual diets, before creating personalised nutritional plans to take back home. The great thing about both of the sessions was that the targets set were achievable – yes we have to try and make them work but we defo won’t automatically fail like we do with all our New Year Rezzies.

PUSH has a chef on site who makes sure all meals are healthy, tasty and have the correct number of calories in. So if you’re ready to re-boot your life and fancy not just getting fitter for a week but coming away having learnt a thing or two about how to change your life for the better – don’t worry there’s no cutting carbs or 4 hour gym sessions in the plan – then check out the dates for 2015 and get booked on.
