creative and cultural hub House of Vans, this week hosts perhaps its most fitting and relevant event to date. Skateboard? Check. Art created by a skateboard? Check. A Grenoble School of Art Graduate, Fabien Bonzi’s objective is to demonstrate the untapped artistic potential of a cult object. His exhibition “Slidesamples” visits this trusted artistic haven and community space, to reveal an offering that sets out to reinvent abstraction. Seasoned skateboarder Fabien swaps brush for board and quite simply rides his canvas, to create something that is truly left-field and altogether unique.
