year’s NME Awards Shows are kicking off in a big way, with two (yes two!) shows happening tonight in old London Town. First up at Camden’s KOKO is La Roux, who single-handedly made synth music and ginger hair cool again (this may or may not be true, but let’s roll with it anyway). Then over at Oxford Street’s 100 Club, new (ish) kids on the block The Districts will be bringing their rocked-up roots music to the city.

And that’s just the first night I hear you cry! Yes, those New Musical Express peeps have got a lovely line-up of gigs throughout February, with a bit of something for everyone from the likes of Kele, Peace, The Cribs, Interpol, Honeyblood and loads more. Check out our playlist to get you in the mood!
