is latest eatery to join the party in Peckham Rye’s foodie surroundings. It has taken over the spot that occupied African restaurant Delta Tavern on the Rye, and is run by a team of Peckham residents. It’s also the sister restaurant to the small-batch gin Little Bird’s distillery on Maltby Street.

With locally sourced ingredients the twist is that they have incorporate gin not only into their cocktails, but into the meals too! The menu is regularly updated and it’s open for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. For dinner we feasted on cauliflower fritters, lard-y-yahs (aka chicken crackling), cottage pie, beefy chips and a pork pot with gin-induced jelly all gin-licious. Deserts were ace too, our fave being the Blood Orange cheesecake – but a little bird told us their Sunday lunch is a goodie too.
